The Old School Henstead is fortunate to have an energetic and committed Council of Management (the Governors) who take an interest in all aspects of the life of the school and are responsible, together with the Headmaster, for strategic planning. The day to day running of the school is the responsibility of the headmaster, who in turn is supported by a lively, well qualified and very experienced professional staff.
STEPHEN COLE, Headmaster of Woodbridge School. Currently chairman of the Headmasters’ Conference inspection steering group.
HEIDI CRICK, Chair of Governors. Following a career in accountancy in Australia, Heidi is now a sheep farmer and self-employed accountant. She has three boys, all of whom have been to Henstead from Reception. Heidi has special responsibility for school financial matters.
KAREN PHILIPS, a local solicitor and former parent of the school.
LYNN FORD, a local businesswoman and former parent of the school.
NICHOLAS KINGSLEY, a solicitor and partner in a local firm.
NICK TAYLOR, a commercial airline pilot. A current parent with two children at the school.
DAVID BRYANT, a local businessman who has a particular interest in fundraising and building projects. A former parent of the school.
RACHAEL AYERS, the proprietor of a local nursery school. Rachael has a particular interest in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
STEVEN HARROD, a local business man and current parent of a child in the junior part of the school.
Dr. MARK BUTT, a local GP and former parent of the school. |
