The School Day - The school day starts with registration at 8.45am. Children arriving early (any time after 8.15am) will be looked after in the school hall until 8.35am when they go to their classrooms.
Morning break is from 10.50am to 11.10am Lunchtime is from 12.20pm to 1.35pm Afternoon break is from 2.35pm to 2.50pm
The day ends at 3.35pm for children in Reception to Year 3 and at 4.10pm for Years 4 to 6. (Children in Reception to Year 3 who need to wait until 4.10pm are cared for in a supervised activity or "prep" session. After this additional care is provided until 5.30pm Monday to Friday for children in all year groups.)
After- School Activities - A range of supervised activities take place between 4.10pm and 5.10pm each day from Monday to Thursday. The activities on offer vary from term to term but include activities such as outdoor games - football, cricket, tennis and golf - badminton, cookery, science club, model making, flying models and kite making, pottery, ballet, boardgames, sewing, environmental gardening and horse riding.
Lunches - At lunchtime a simple hot lunch or a filled roll is available each day together with hot drinks. Children are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch if preferred. Children eat their lunch in the school hall on two days each week, on the remaining days lunch is eaten with their form teacher in the classroom.
